What is MPL?

The Medennium Phakic Refrective Lenses (MPL) are precision made optical devices, available in different model/size for intraocular implantation. The optical portion is biconcave or concave-convex and made from sillicon elastomer. The haptics are spherical  and flexible for ease of insertion, and the overall lens shape is designed to conform to the natural shape of the posterior chamber of the human ryr, and to move with the dynamic changes of the eye. Gross centration, if necessary, is achieved via haptic contact with the ciliary sulcus with precise centration achieved through the iris self-centering design. The MPL is not fixed to the ciliary sulcus but is allowed by designed to floating in its self- centered position.

Unique and Safe Design

  • Implantation between iris and crystalline.
  • Natural and precise self-centration by iris.
  • The posterior surface of the lens is designed to conform to the shape of the anterior capsule of the natural lens and to move with dynamic changes of the eye.
  • Spherical and very flexible haptics.
  • Lens is not fixated to the ciliary sulcus.
  • Lens dimensions, shape and material properties enable “floating” on the natural lens without touching it.
  • A layer of aqueous surrounds the MPL, avoiding contact to the crystalline lens and the pigment epithelium of the iris.
  • Overall diameter smaller than sulcus to sulcus distance avoiding compression of intraocular structures.

Monobloc Silicone Polymer

  • Hydrophobic silicone material enables to float over the crystalline.
  • High refractive Index 1.46

Optimized Design Features

  • Rounded edges throughout its entire contour.
  • Maximized optic sizing as large as 6.0mm for powers up to -15.0 diopters.
  • 50% thinner edges (0.1mm) securing the presence of a gap while improving buoyancy.
  • Full spread of powers between -3.0 diopters up to -28.0 in 0.5 increments. By adopting ISO labeling methodology the incremental values were redefined to more accurate levels providing users with smaller increments of refinement between available powers translating into even more accurate final results

why EYEPCL?

WHY EYEPCL?

Transition from Contact Lenses,Spectacles & Lasik
  • Are Contact Lenses & Spectacles, a constant hassle to handle and maintain, along with an expense burden?
  • Are you finding it awkward to wear and remove your contact lenses daily?
  • Do you constantly need to hydrate your eyes with eye drops?
  • Is finding a replacement of your contact lenses a difficulty?
  • Have you ever misplaced or broken your contact lenses?
Stop worrying!
“Meet all the challenges of life with a better perception, eliminating the hassles of Contact Lenses and Spectacles with – Implantable Phakic Contact Lens (EyePCL)
EyePCL Advantage
“A Vision with a new Horizon”
Since yesteryears, the only method of permanent vision correction was corrective laser eye surgery. With the advent of EyePCL, things have changed. Now you can enjoy, a well defined vision correction, that’s sharper, cleaner, more vivid and has greater depth and dimension – All in a Simple 15 minute OPD medical intervention.
Pleasant Surprise
After a simple 15 minute OPD medical procedure, patients experience immediate improvement in the visual quality and are “Pleasantly Surprised” by the result. In fact the quality of vision achieved is the best among the other eye vision solutions available with your surgeon.
Designed to be Forever but Removable
EyePCL is intended to be permanently placed inside your eye to correct your vision. The most important advantage is, it can be removed or replaced easily, if necessary.
In EyePCL medical intervention procedure no corneal tissue is removed or reshaped, unlike the corrective Lasik procedure whereby healthy corneal tissue is removed permanently.
Minimum Curative Time
The curative time for the EyePCL is quick and pain free. Most patients recover within a day or less, due to very small incision (2.8 mm) required in the surgery. Generally patient’s experience minimal discomfort and can resume their work the next day.
Invisible & Unnoticeable
EyePCL is positioned between the Iris and your natural lens. It is invisible to patient and viewer. The fixed positioning of the EyePCL allows it to work in complete harmony with your normal eye function.
The only way that you or anyone else comes to know its there, is the improvement in your eye sight. You will neither be able to see nor feel the EyePCL, once it is inside your eye.
 UV Protection:
Long term or intense exposure to Ultra Violet radiation can damage your eyes and increases the risk of eye disorders including cataract & other retinal problems. The EyePCL is manufactured with Advanced Hybrid Hydrophilic Material which contains a UV blocker that prevents harmful UV rays from entering the most sensitive part of the eye. Thus preventing the development of UV related eye disorders.
The Flexibility for the Future
When time passes, and we grow older, our vision changes. Everyone will need a cataract surgery. A significant benefit with the EyePCL is that you will have future options available to you, when the time comes.
The EyePCL lens can be removed and replaced if your vision changes significantly. And you can have another procedure at any time.
Superb Long Time Protection
The EyePCL has maintained highest standards of safety compared to other similar procedures. That is why, more and more EyePCL is being recommended and used by the doctors worldwide.

What is EYEPCL?

Implantable Phakic contact Lens (EyePCL) is like a soft contact lens, single piece posterior chamber phakic iol, which can be inserted into the eye through sub 2.8mm incision to correct vision of the eye.
The lens is customized according to shape & size of each eye.
Widest power range from +15D to -30D with cyl upto 8D.
Made from Hybrid Acrylic material to ensure long term performance.
The EyePCL lens is implanted inside the eye, between the Iris and the natural lens. It can be inserted into the eye
through sub 2.8 mm incision, to correct spherical, cylindrical or mixed errors within the eye’s optical system.
Once implanted in the eye, the EyePCL stays indefinitely. It can be replaced or removed from the eye, if your
vision changes over a period of time.

    Introduce about IPCL

                                Introduce about IPCL

10 % patients who want to have LASIK surgery can’t have LASIK surgery, because abnormal corneal shape or not enough corneal thickness for LASIK is found by screening test. We can provide better vision as LASIK for no LASIK candidate patients. This new methods name is implantable phakic contact lens (IPCL). These new surgery methods just lens implantation to posterior chamber, easy and can get better vision than LASIK surgery. This lens is also removable and safe. IPCL can treat for high myopia and astigmatism that can’t treat LASIK and hyperopia, and presbyopia. If you have high myopia over -6.0D, IPCL is the best choice for your treatment of high myopia.
