One of them, Dr. Kim geunsoo, had worked at Duke Eye Center for one and a half years as a researcher, and he can speak english fluently, so that you will be able to get detailed information you might want to know.

Second, the director of the hospital does unstinted investment for upgrading surgical equipments such as Z2, Z4(Femtosecond laser) and Amaris 750, Mel 90(Excimer laser) which can improve accuracy for the lasik and lasek surgery.

★ Detailed Eye Exam

Prior to lasik or lasek surgery, you will have a comprehensive and detailed eye examination to make sure you do not have an eye disease or a systemic health condition that might interfere with your surgical procedure, your postoperative healing, or the long-term health of your eye. It will take one and a half hours to finish all process of the eye tests. When available, we appreciate the opportunity to review your previous records to confirm stability in your prescription. Arecent change in the power of your glasses may not exclude you as a surgical candidate. Nevertheless, in every patient, substantial testing is performed to identify refractive instability, including those who may have corneal astigmatism or warpage caused by wearing improper contact lens.

 

※ You are requested not to wear soft contact lens for one week or hard contact lens for two weeks before the eye exam.
